Ministry libraries Suggested Framework for UAE ministry Libraries

The United Arab Emirates has witnessed over the last few decades a tremendous economic & social progress in all aspects of life, and among the areas that the UAE has focused on is the governmental administration both on the local & federal levels. In this regard, the UAE has succeeded in the application of strategic planning model, total quality management and e-government access to smart cities. According to the Arab Knowledge Report, issued in 2014, the UAE has surpassed the various Middle East countries in the overall performance of the innovation, and ranked 38 in the world. In this sense, the UAE libraries have benefited from the progress and development that took place in information and communication technology sector in the country by applying the most advanced, technical and administrative methods. The importance of the ministry libraries comes from being part of the government and its role in the implementation of the national strategy.
